Omphalodes verna, Blue Eyed Mary grows in the front "woodland" border. Most of the year it is fairly inconspicuous but in the spring it is spangled with sky blue forget-me-not flowers. |

Epmedium x versicolor "suphureum" has two tone yellow flowers over bronzed mature foliage in spring. Advice is to cut all the old foliage off early in the season (new soft green foliage soon appears), but I like to retain some of the foliage as a foil for the flowers and then carefully cut back the old foliage, being careful not to cut off the unfurling new leaf stalks. |

Two new Euphorbias in the garden. These will be in "flower" for 2-3 months. Left is Euphorbia x martinii, and right is Euphorbia amygaloides Rubra a form of the common native Wood Spurge. |
