In an English Garden

Again this will be a very personal selection of plants and garden views. Many of the pictures will come from my own south facing garden, some are taken from my mum and dad's garden, and a few from other places. My overall taste is for informal gardens with lots of herbaceaous plants. My mum and dad's garden is informal showing my mother's interest in form and texture. My own garden is less mature in all senses of the word! Informal to the point of chaos, I am still too keen on the individual plants to get down to the basics of melding them together to make an overall impression. Sometimes, usually more by luck than judgement I get what are was looking for.

I wasn't quite sure how to structure this section, but finally decided the simplest approach would be to order it by date. So what follows is a month by month look around the English Garden.
