In an English Garden - in May (III)
Left, in April the border by the front door is yellow and blue , with Oxlips, Primroses, and Cowslips, Blue Eyed Mary and Hyacynths. Later in May, a pink Dicentra (formosana?) joins the throng.

Below left, this plant was labelled Omphalodes cappadoica but is in fact Brunnera macrophylla. It has much smaller flowers and is quite different. Even so, I bought it in flower, I love the tiny forget-me-nots.

Below right, Euphorbia griffithii, often seen in the cultivar "Fireglow", this one is "Dixter" which is a little shorter I think.
Left, Geranium phaeum "Rose Madder" with a lovely soft beige pink flowers on tall stems.
