In an English Garden - in October/November (III)
Above  left, Viburnum tinus. This is very tough shrub that also makes a good hedge with dark green leaves, white flowers during the winter and black berries. Right another Viburnum, Virburnum davidii. On the right, Fatsia japonica in flower.
Right, Euphorbia griffithii Dixter putting on its second show of the year with warm autumn colours.
Left, Cyclamen cilicium in the shade of an apple tree. More delicate and frail looking than its rarer cousin C. mirabile it is in fact easier in the garden. Hardy and tolerant of the English damp winters (the leaves in front belong to Cyclamen pururascens).
