In an English Garden - in September (II)
Anchusa leptophylla (left) is unfortunately only an annual with me. It grows about 6 inches tall with greyish green leaves and these startlingly blue flowers. I love this and the other members of this family, like Omphalodes and Cynoglossum. The varigated plant in the background is a form of the  "Pick a back Plant" Tolmiea menziesii.
Bottom left, Geranium wallichianum "Buxton Blue" just keeps on flowering from about July until November. It's an easy, beautiful sprawling plant that luckily comes true from seed.

Below right, some more of the Cyclamen hederifolium, this time in a white form.
Last picture for September and OK, yet another plant of Cyclamen hederifolium. This plant has long silvered leaves that form a very symetrical display as the flowers fade.
