Alpine section
I have been growing alpines off and on for over 25 years, starting out when I was about 14 years old. It's fitting that I start off the index with a picture of a Daphne arbuscula that has been with me from the start. I grow it from a cutting back in 1974.

Suprisingly I have never had a rock garden, I have always grown specialist plants in the greenhouse, frames or a trough.

Over the years I have built and dispersed two collections, the remains of the second collection will now form the basis of a third collection.

To navigate this section you can either click on the individual pages or take the tour.
