An unamed Oncidium. For some reason the relatively unfussy flowers of this one reminds me of Calceolarias (also from South America) and now that I have that association in my mind I just can't shake it. |

Right, one of my plants and not a particularly good picture. It is Mtdm Avalon Bay "wasp" which I am told is a Miltonia Oncidium cross. The yollow in the flower is quite deep when the flower is fresh, fading to a pale lemon yellow with age. It has the chocolate scent that many of these plants have. |
